Chicken Cutter ( For Burgers and lollipops )

Job Summary

We are looking for a disciplined and detail-oriented **Chicken Cutter** to join our kitchen team. Your primary responsibility will be the high-volume preparation of poultry, specifically focusing on precision cuts for gourmet burgers and the technical "Frenching" technique required for chicken lollipops. You will ensure every piece of meat meets our weight and quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Precision Portioning: Trim and butterfly chicken breasts to exact thickness and weight for consistent burger grilling.

Specialty Preparation:De-bone and shape chicken wings/drummettes into "lollipops" (pushing meat to one end and cleaning the bone) with high efficiency.

Quality Control: Inspect all incoming poultry for freshness and remove any unwanted fat, gristle, or bone fragments.

Yield Management: Execute cuts that minimize waste and maximize the number of servings per kilogram of meat.

Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a clean station, sanitize tools constantly to prevent cross-contamination, and adhere to all food safety (HACCP) regulations.

Inventory Support: Assist in tracking stock levels and labeling prepared items with "Prep Dates" and "Use-By" dates.

Skills & Qualifications

Requirement

Experience : Minimum 1–2 years in a butchery, meat processing plant, or high-volume kitchen.

Knife Skills : Advanced proficiency with boning knives and cleavers; ability to work quickly without sacrificing safety.

Physical Stamina :Ability to stand for long shifts and work in cold, refrigerated environments. |

Work Environment & Expectations

Speed: This is a high-output role. You are expected to meet daily "prep quotas" to keep up with restaurant demand.

Consistency: Every lollipop and burger fillet must look identical to ensure a uniform customer experience.

Cleanliness: A "clean as you go" mentality is non-negotiable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD150.000 - BD250.000 per month
