Chief Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Review and validate journal entries, balance sheets, and ledger reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Prepare management financial reports and performance analysis.

Audit, Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and filings.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Maintain financial documentation and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
• Implement strong internal controls and risk mitigation processes.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Supervise billing cycles, invoicing, collections, and payment processes.
• Review and approve payments, ensuring proper authorization.
• Monitor vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Payroll Management

• Oversee monthly payroll processing and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with HR for employee benefits, reimbursements, and gratuity calculations.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and guide junior accountants and finance staff.
• Train and support team members on accounting procedures and software.

Strategic Support

• Assist management in financial planning, investment evaluation, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Conduct trend analysis and provide financial insights for business growth.
• Participate in setting accounting policies and improving financial systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in corporate or multi-business environments.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and financial regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
