Chief Accountant

SG Allied Businesses Limited – Karachi

SG Allied Businesses Limited is seeking a highly competent and experienced Chief Accountant to lead our accounting and financial reporting functions. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in preparing monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements, and be capable of managing accounts independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements, including:
• Income Statement (P&L)
• Balance Sheet
• Cash Flow Statements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
• Oversee general ledger, receivables, payables, and reconciliations
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing
• Monitor financial performance and report variances
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role
• Strong command of financial reporting and accounting principles
• Hands-on experience with monthly accounts preparation
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• CA / ACCA / CMA (qualified or partly qualified preferred)
• Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or industrial sector is a plus
