Chief Accountant - KSA National

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Chief Accountant to oversee the finance and accounting function for our operations in KSA. The ideal candidate will manage statutory compliance, financial reporting, and internal controls while coordinating closely with the regional Finance Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with ZATCA regulations (VAT, Withholding Tax, e-Invoicing).
• Oversee GOSI, payroll calculations, and related government submissions.
• Coordinate internal and external audits; maintain accurate documentation.
• Monitor cash flow, banking, payables, and receivables.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and financial discipline.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, auditors, and government authorities as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Saudi National (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Accounting / Finance within KSA.
• Strong working knowledge of ZATCA, GOSI, financial reporting standards, and audit procedures.
• Experience in trading or industrial / energy sectors is preferred.
• Professional Certifications such as SOCPA, CPA, or CMA are highly preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP / accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
