Position Summary:
The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) is responsible for leading the commercial strategy and driving
business growth across sales, marketing, and business development functions. This role ensures
sustainable revenue growth, market expansion, and strong customer and partner relationships
aligned with the company’s overall vision and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the company’s commercial strategy in alignment with corporate goals.
- Identify new market opportunities and evaluate trends to ensure competitiveness.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to shape long-term growth initiatives.
Sales & Revenue Management
- Oversee sales operations to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
- Establish pricing models, sales targets, and go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor and optimize sales performance using KPIs and analytics.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Lead marketing strategy including digital, brand positioning, and communications.
- Enhance the company’s visibility and reputation in local, regional, and global markets.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
Business Development & Partnerships
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and clients.
- Identify opportunities for expansion through alliances, acquisitions, or joint ventures.
- Negotiate and secure high-value deals that drive growth.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and inspire commercial teams across sales, marketing, and business development.
- Develop talent and create a high-performance culture.
- Align cross-functional teams to ensure commercial objectives are met.
Performance & Reporting
- Track and analyze performance against commercial objectives.
- Prepare and present commercial reports to the CEO and executive board.
- Recommend data-driven improvements to strategies and operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, or business development, with at least
5 years in an executive leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion.
- Strong knowledge of local and international markets.
- Fluency in English (Arabic or other languages is an advantage depending on market).
