The responsibilities and essential functions for this role will include, but are not limited to:
Develop and lead a multi-platform content strategy (digital, social media, video, podcasts, editorial, events) that aligns with brand identity and business objectives.
Lead the evolution of digital content strategy, optimizing for SEO, social engagement, and audience growth.
Establish clear content goals, KPIs, and measurement strategies to track engagement, conversion, and performance.
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of brand, content, and creative professionals.
Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation across creative, editorial, design, marketing, and external partners/agencies.
Oversee design of scalable processes for content production, distribution, and optimization.
Identify opportunities to expand content offerings through video, podcasts, events, and multimedia storytelling.
Develop audience-first content strategies that leverage analytics, trends, and emerging formats.
Champion experimentation with new editorial products and distribution channels.
Lead the creative teams in the creation and curation of compelling content across platforms (web, social, email, video, print, podcasts, etc.).
Ensure brand consistency and storytelling excellence across all content.
Champion the use of audience insights, data, and analytics to inform storytelling, channel distribution, and campaign performance.
Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and quality across all outputs.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and team leaders (Sales, Marketing, Product, Licensing, PR, Design, Creative, and Events teams) to support integrated, revenue-generating initiatives (e.g., sponsored content, partnerships, subscriptions).
Ensure alignment of the editorial calendar, content workflows, publishing and production timelines across all platforms.
Align content initiatives with user/audience experience, product launches, and market opportunities.
7+ years of content strategy and development, ideally with a focus on digital, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
Proven ability to lead large-scale content operations with measurable impact on audience growth and brand reputation.
Experience developing branded content, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and navigating the business side of media.
Strong design and visual storytelling sensibility, especially for digital platforms.
Excellent leadership and people management skills; experience building and scaling diverse creative teams.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Proven success in developing and executing integrated brand and content strategies across multiple platforms.
Deep understanding of brand voice, storytelling, SEO, audience engagement, and analytics.
Experience in a content-heavy environment (media, entertainment, digital publishing, SaaS, etc.).
Keenly attuned to and ahead of the curve on current events, what’s trending, popular, cool and relevant in today’s world.
Strong creative judgment with the ability to balance storytelling, brand strategy, and business objectives.
Deep understanding of digital ecosystems, including social media, SEO, paid media, and emerging tech (AI, Web3, streaming).
Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics and performance measurement tools.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $300,000 - $400,000 base salary, annually; however, base pay offered and bonus may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
This position will be based in Miami.
