Chief Electrical Engineer – International EPC Project (Tunisia & Algeria)

Are you a Senior Electrical Engineer with 10-15 years of EPC experience in the Energy sector? Join Arkad for a strategic international assignment. This role is contracted through our Abu Dhabi branch , focusing on a major project with a duration of approximately 2.5 years across Tunisia and Algeria.

The Mission:

• Phase 1 (approx. 18 months): Based in Tunisia at our Engineering Subcontractor’s office to lead and approve all Electrical engineering delivery, including design criteria, specs, and calculations.
• Phase 2 (approx. 12 months): Based in Algeria at the project site to support the Construction Department, Site Technical Office, and commissioning/SAT phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Electrical engineering team and act as the key technical interface with the Client.
• Plan and monitor discipline man-hours, ensuring the project stays on schedule and budget.
• Supervise the Material Requisitions (MR) process and technical bid evaluations for electrical equipment.
• Expertise in ETAP , SPEL , and international codes (IEC, IEEE, ATEX) is mandatory.

Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10-15 years of experience in Oil&Gas/Energy EPC projects.
• Fluent English is required; French is a significant advantage for site operations.
