Chief Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Chief Engineer to lead our engineering and maintenance operations across our manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the engineering team, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous development.
• Oversee maintenance management programs, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities across all facilities.
• Manage industrial maintenance operations involving mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and high/low voltage systems.
• Develop and review schematics, technical drawings, and system layouts to support troubleshooting and upgrades.
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to track work orders, asset history, and maintenance schedules efficiently.
• Supervise the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations by conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
• Lead project management efforts for facility upgrades or new installations, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Monitor facilities management activities related to HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, low voltage systems, and high voltage equipment.
• Use tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics to maintain system integrity.
• Provide technical guidance on schematics interpretation and mechanical system troubleshooting to team members.

Requirements

• Proven management experience leading engineering or maintenance teams within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience in industrial environments.
• Hands-on experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and automation systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms for maintenance tracking and asset management.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, facilities management practices, and industrial maintenance procedures.
• Experience working with high voltage (HV) and low voltage electrical systems; ability to perform electrical testing using tools like ohmmeters.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Supervising experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams while ensuring safety standards are met or exceeded.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication across diverse teams and documentation purposes. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
