Chief Engineer

Duties

- Oversee and manage the maintenance and operation of all building systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the efficient operation of all equipment and systems

- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs

- Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs or installations

- Manage the budget for maintenance and repair activities

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory

Experience

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities management or maintenance management

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage systems

- Familiarity with HVAC systems and their operation

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical staff
