Chief Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to lead our engineering team and oversee all engineering operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities management, project management, and electrical systems, including both high and low voltage applications. This role requires an individual who is adept at supervising teams, fabricating solutions, and interpreting schematics to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the engineering team, providing guidance and support to ensure project goals are met.
• Oversee facilities management activities, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and effectively.
• Lead project management efforts from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are adhered to.
• Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical systems and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate communication and coordination on engineering projects.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for high-voltage and low voltage systems to ensure reliability.
• Fabricate components as needed for various projects while adhering to safety standards.
• Review schematics and technical drawings to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Have high knowledge of construction building, and repairs.
• Have the ability to communicate with upper management about projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in supervising engineering teams and managing complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of facilities management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in working with high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Familiarity with using an ohmmeter and other relevant testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions.
• Ability of using basic and electrical hand tools as well as more advanced tools as needed.
