Chief Executive Officer

CLIENT & OVERVIEW:

Our client is a well-established construction company in UAE with an exciting project pipeline. To support their expansion, they are currently looking for a Chief Executive Officer who will support them in strategic planning and execution of their vision. You will drive long-term growth and operational efficiency and closely support the owners whilst ensuring alignment of projects with overall business goals – All in a fast-paced construction contracting environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement strategic plans and company policies
• Lead executive teams to achieve business objectives
• Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments, and other business ventures
• Ensure all operations adhere to legal guidelines and in-house policies
• Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry to identify opportunities and risks
• Represent the company in important functions, industry events, and public forums
• Work closely with the board to define and communicate the company’s vision and goals
• Ensure the company’s staff and processes comply with health and safety regulations

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration or a related field; MBA or equivalent is preferred

• 15-20 years of experience minimum

• Proven experience as a CEO or in other managerial positions in the construction industry

• Solid financial and business acumen

• Construction industry regulations and standards knowledge
