The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for leading and managing all financial operations of the General Insurance Company, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial stability, and sound governance.
- Oversee all financial functions including accounts, finance, treasury, audit, taxation, and budgeting.
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management to support the company’s operational needs.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, regulatory returns, and SECP reporting compliant with applicable insurance laws.
- Maintain strong internal controls, risk management systems, and financial governance frameworks.
- Lead and supervise internal and external audit processes, ensuring proper compliance with tax and insurance regulations.
- Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO, Board of Directors, and Audit Committee.
- Manage reinsurance accounting, claims reserves, underwriting results, provisioning, and actuarial coordination specific to the general insurance sector.
- Ensure compliance with SECP Corporate Governance for Insurers, IFRS, and industry-specific regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and integrity.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, regulators, and reinsurance partners.
