Chief Financial Officer

One of our clients are looking for Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board, leading the financial strategy, capital structuring, and governance of the organization. The role focuses on driving financial transformation, capital markets readiness, and institutional financing strategies while ensuring robust financial reporting, compliance, and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall financial strategy, planning, and performance management of the organization
  • Develop and execute capital structuring initiatives, debt financing, and investment funds
  • Drive IPO readiness, including financial governance alignment, reporting standards, and investor structuring
  • Oversee financial reporting in full compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support strategic decision making
  • Manage relationships with banks, investors, financial institutions, and advisors
  • Lead multi bank debt restructuring and optimise capital structure and liquidity
  • Oversee mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and investment structuring initiatives
  • Establish and maintain strong financial governance, internal controls, and risk management frameworks
  • Lead board level reporting, audit committee engagement, and investor communications
  • Drive financial transformation initiatives, including digitisation and process optimisation
  • Ensure alignment between financial strategy and operational execution
  • Strong experience in capital markets, IPO preparation, and institutional financing
  • Hands on experience in Sukuk structuring, investment fund development, and structured finance
  • Extensive experience in IFRS reporting, external audits, and financial governance
  • Experience in debt restructuring and banking negotiations
  • Track record of leading financial transformation and enterprise level initiatives
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 18-20 years of experience in finance, with significant exposure to construction, real estate, or investment sectors
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CFA is required
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking
  • Deep expertise in capital markets and financial structuring
  • High level financial modeling and valuation skills
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities
  • Strong communication and board level presentation skills
  • Expertise in governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
  • Ability to lead transformation and change management initiatives
