Chief Financial Officer - Controller

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer - Controller to lead our financial operations and drive fiscal excellence across the organization. This pivotal role combines high-level financial oversight with hands-on management of accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and fostering sustainable growth. Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of corporate accounting, including financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, IAS, and other relevant standards such as ASC 606 and COSO frameworks.
  • Oversee treasury management activities to ensure liquidity, cash flow forecasting, and effective supply chain financing strategies.
  • Manage risk analysis processes to identify potential financial vulnerabilities and implement robust risk mitigation measures aligned with regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Supervise compliance with SOX controls and internal audit procedures to uphold integrity in financial operations.
  • Drive revenue cycle management initiatives to optimize income streams while maintaining strict expense and cost control measures.
  • Lead strategic planning efforts by developing budgets, forecasts, and financial models that support business development and growth initiatives.
  • Oversee mergers & acquisitions activities by conducting due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning to maximize organizational value.
  • Interpret complex financial reports for senior leadership, providing insights that inform decision-making on profit & loss statements, fiscal management, and market analysis.
  • Manage all aspects of governmental accounting requirements and ensure adherence to regulatory standards across all financial functions.
  • Supervise payroll management, cost accounting, technical accounting practices, and financial software systems to streamline operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in senior leadership roles within finance or accounting departments; supervisory experience is essential.
  • Extensive knowledge of corporate finance principles including budgeting, forecasting, tax accounting, cost control, and revenue management.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GAAP, IFRS, IAS, SOX compliance standards, ASC 606 guidelines, and COSO controls.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, modeling, risk management strategies, and business analysis techniques.
  • Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a strategic mindset for business development opportunities.
  • Proficiency in financial software platforms and advanced Excel skills for detailed financial report writing and interpretation.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate teams while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in technical accounting practices like cost accounting and governmental accounting processes.
