Chief Happiness Officer (Part Time)

Job Title: Part-Time Chief Happiness Officer

Location: Brookfield, WI
Schedule: 9:00A - 3:00P. This is flexible

Position Summary

The Chief Happiness Officer (CHO) is responsible for creating a welcoming, engaging, and positive experience for employees and guests across the organization. This role leads employee engagement initiatives, internal events, communications, onboarding activities, and workplace culture programs.

The CHO plays a key role in fostering a connected and energized workplace through exceptional hospitality, organization, and communication.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Plan and coordinate employee celebrations and recognition programs
  • Organize and support employee engagement activities and events
  • Assist in developing initiatives that enhance workplace morale and company culture

Onboarding & Orientation

  • Support new hire orientation sessions
  • Ensure a welcoming and organized onboarding experience
  • Prepare onboarding materials and collaborate with department leaders

Internal Communications

  • Support internal communication efforts related to events, announcements, and employee engagement

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Maintain inventory and order office and event supplies as needed
  • Coordinate meeting logistics and event preparation
  • Support additional culture, communication, and administrative initiatives as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in office administration, hospitality, employee engagement, marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office technology
  • Positive attitude, energetic personality, and passion for creating a welcoming environment

Work Environment

This position operates in an office setting and involves regular interaction with employees, visitors, vendors, and leadership. Occasional evening or off-site event participation may be required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
