We are looking for
Vice President of Human Resources (VP HR / CHRO)
for a leading drilling and energy services company operating in Saudi Arabia. This is a rare C-suite mandate for a seasoned HR executive ready to shape the people strategy of a high-growth, operationally complex organization.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP HR / CHRO will serve as the principal architect of the company's Human Capital strategy. This is not a transactional HR role — it demands a visionary leader capable of driving transformation, embedding a high-performance culture, and ensuring the organisation is equipped with the talent needed to sustain long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities

Define and execute enterprise-wide HR strategy aligned with corporate vision and business objectives

Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on all workforce matters

Lead talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development frameworks

Oversee compensation, total rewards, and performance management strategies

Champion Saudization / nationalization initiatives and build local talent pipelines

Drive HR digital transformation and workforce analytics capabilities

Ensure full compliance with Saudi labour law, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance

Lead and develop a team of 5 direct reports across all HR functions
Ideal Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field

Professional certification (SHRM, CIPD) is a strong advantage

Minimum
15 years of progressive HR leadership
, with at least
8–10 years in senior leadership

Proven background in the
energy, oil & gas, drilling, or industrial sectors

Experience leading HR in complex, multinational or JV environments
