Position Title
Lead - Sourcing & Contracting Transmission Lines
Purpose of Role
Responsible for end to end Strategic Sourcing in Transmission and Substation.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Provide pre-bid support to the bidding team and establish pre-bid tie-ups with EPC contractors and OEMs.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, build EPC/supplier relationship and timely completion of Projects.
- Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements with EPC/suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standard in all procurement activities.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams such as bidding, D&E, Projects, Operations and QA to optimize procurement outcome.
- Be proactive and innovative with ideas to improve CPAEX cost.
- Review weekly / bi weekly various on going SCM related issues and bids with Team.
- Proven track record in negotiating large, complex contracts with OEMs and EPCs.
