We are a fast-growing home service company dedicated to delivering high-quality services and exceptional customer experiences. We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) who deeply understands the home service industry from the ground up—including real service technician experience—and can lead our marketing, branding, and growth initiatives.

Position Overview

The CMO will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s overall marketing strategy, driving lead generation, and strengthening brand presence. This role requires someone who has previously worked as a service technician or has direct experience in the field, ensuring our marketing aligns with real operations, customer needs, and industry realities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive marketing strategy across all channels (digital, print, community, partnerships).
  • Drive lead generation and conversion through SEO, PPC, social media, email campaigns, and local marketing efforts.
  • Oversee brand development, messaging, and customer experience alignment.
  • Analyze performance metrics and optimize marketing campaigns to maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate with operations and sales teams to ensure marketing initiatives support company growth goals.
  • Lead the marketing department, manage vendors, and oversee budgets.
  • Maintain deep understanding of customer pain points and technician workflows to create authentic, effective marketing.
  • Identify new opportunities for market expansion and service growth.

Requirements

  • Must have direct service technician experience (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or similar).
  • Must have home service industry experience (required for consideration).
  • Proven leadership experience in marketing within the home service industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, and brand management.
  • Ability to build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using marketing analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication, creativity, and strategic thinking skills.
