Chief Technical Officer (CTO – Digital Marketing)
Position Summary

The CTO – Digital Marketing leads the technological vision and digital infrastructure required to support marketing automation, online campaigns, analytics, customer engagement platforms, and digital growth strategies. This role ensures seamless integration between marketing technologies, data systems, and digital platforms to maximize brand visibility, lead generation, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Marketing Technology Strategy

  • Build and execute the organization’s Mar Tech (Marketing Technology) roadmap.
  • Identify, implement, and optimize digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Drive digital transformation using automation, AI/ML, analytics, and CRM technologies.

2. Marketing Platform Management

  • Oversee development, optimization, and maintenance of:
  • Company websites & landing pages
  • CRM systems
  • Marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, Mailchimp, etc.)
  • Social media management tools
  • SEO/SEM tools
  • Ad-tech platforms
  • Ensure smooth integration between all digital marketing systems.

3. Data, Analytics & Performance Tracking

  • Lead data-driven marketing intelligence.
  • Implement dashboards for campaign performance, customer behavior, and ROI.
  • Use analytics and AI tools for segmentation, personalization, and forecasting.
  • Support marketing team with deep insights to improve conversion rates.

4. Digital Infrastructure & Security

  • Ensure security, scalability, and performance of all digital marketing systems.
  • Oversee hosting, cloud services, API integrations, and data governance.
  • Maintain compliance with data-privacy norms (GDPR, IT Act norms).

5. Automation & Digital Growth

  • Implement marketing automation (email drip, lead scoring, retargeting).
  • Drive tools for marketing funnels, conversion optimization, and lead nurturing.
  • Support omni-channel digital campaigns (Google, Meta, YouTube, SEO, ORM).

6. Team Leadership

  • Lead digital tech teams: developers, automation engineers, data analysts.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Content teams.
  • Manage external technology vendors, agencies, and tool providers.

7. Innovation & Emerging Technologies

  • Introduce AI-driven marketing solutions (chatbots, recommendation engines, predictive analytics).
  • Evaluate emerging tools for digital content, personalization, and audience engagement.
  • Drive innovation for customer journey optimization and campaign efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in IT, Computer Science, Digital Marketing Technology, or equivalent.
  • 13–20 years of experience in technology roles within digital marketing.
  • Expertise in:
  • CRM, CMS, automation tools
  • Ad-tech & performance marketing systems
  • Analytics & BI platforms
  • SEO/SEM technology stack
  • API integrations & cloud platforms
  • Strong understanding of marketing funnels, conversions, and digital campaigns.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Worked in digital agencies, marketing-tech companies, e-commerce, or growth-driven organizations.
  • Knowledge of CDP (Customer Data Platforms) and AI-driven marketing solutions.
