The City of Janesville is recruiting for a full-time Chief of Police. This position is responsible for overseeing and directing the operations of the police department and its staff. Minimum qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in law enforcement, criminal justice or related field; seven to ten years progressive law enforcement experience; OR any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the job proficiently. Must have supervisory experience; current Minnesota Peace Officer (POST) License; and valid MN Driver’s License. Preferred qualification Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
