ABOUT BREAKWATER

Breakwater builds PropTech at the intersection of real estate and modern hospitality, operating from Los Angeles. The studio blends technology and creator-driven distribution to unlock new ways to own, operate, and scale hospitality assets. We build AI-native software that delivers immediate, measurable ROI for hospitality operators: prosumer teams running short-term rentals, vacation rentals, and independent hotels.

Today, Breakwater is a 14-person team operating in partnership with Bifrost Studios, a Danish venture fund and global venture builder backing a portfolio of high-growth technology companies. The Lahore office is Breakwater's operational home base, where the core team builds and ships.

THE ROLE

This is not a coordinator role. It is not a support role. This is the person who owns the output of the entire Lahore team and is accountable for everything that ships.

You will run the daily and weekly operating rhythm of the studio, manage cross-functional execution across product, design, video, and dev, and ensure every commitment is tracked, delivered, and reported on. Founders operate at the strategy and fundraising layer. You own everything below that line.

If you need oversight to function, this is not the role for you. If you thrive with accountability, move fast under ambiguity, and take personal ownership of team output, this is exactly the role for you.

WHAT YOU OWN

- Full team output across the Lahore office, including dev, design, video, and support functions

- The weekly execution rhythm: standups, planning sessions, task boards, and retrospectives

- All project tracking across active ventures: ReelStay, BookMySTR, Alfie, and Freeport

- GTM pipeline operations: every lead tracked, staged, followed up, and handed off on time

- Fundraising operations support: investor materials, data room, and outreach tracker always current

- SOPs, documentation, and process infrastructure that remove founder bottlenecks permanently

- Cross-team coordination between Lahore and LA leadership, with clear communication loops

- Recruiting coordination for open roles: sourcing pipelines, trial coordination, and onboarding

WHAT YOU BRING

- 2 to 4 years of project or operations management experience in a fast paced startup, agency, or venture environment

- Proven track record of owning team output and delivery, not just coordinating tasks

- Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken; you will be the link between Lahore and LA

- High command of the startup ops toolstack: Notion, Asana, Google Suite, Figma, Slack

- Extreme attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture

- High personal agency: you identify problems before being told, you propose solutions, you close loops

- Comfort operating in ambiguity across multiple workstreams with changing priorities

- Willingness to work late hours when coordination with the LA team requires it

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience at a venture studio, creative agency, or multi-product startup

- Familiarity with PropTech, STR, or hospitality software

- Background in consulting, banking, or VC analyst roles

- Prior experience managing cross-functional teams of 5 or more people

Travel

You will have the opportunity to travel to the United States and Europe to report directly to stakeholders, attend key meetings, and represent the studio at the operational level. This is not a back-office role. You will be in the room.

Working inside this ecosystem means direct exposure to how venture-backed companies are built, funded, and scaled.
