Role Description The Chief Operating Financial Officer (COFO) is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing both financial strategy and core operational performance at 5 Sigma Technologies, Inc. This remote role involves leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes while aligning them with the company’s operational objectives. On a day-to-day basis, the COFO will manage accounting and finance functions, monitor cash flow, review financial reports, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The role will collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement strategic plans, optimize costs, and drive sustainable growth. The COFO will also oversee key operational initiatives, refine internal controls and processes, and provide clear, data-backed recommendations to stakeholders and board members.
Qualifications

• Strong finance and accounting capabilities, including expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and cash flow management.
• Proven experience in budgeting and strategic planning, with the ability to align financial plans to organizational goals.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret complex financial and operational data and present clear, actionable insights.
• Demonstrated leadership in an executive or senior finance/operations role within a technology or high-growth environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with executive leadership, investors, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience implementing or optimizing ERP and financial systems, and comfort working in a fully remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced credential preferred.
• High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a track record of driving operational efficiency and financial discipline.
