Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and optimize the company’s day-to-day operations. The COO will play a critical role in scaling the business, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring successful delivery of all projects.

This role requires a strong leader with deep experience in construction, fit-out, and project management within the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across construction, design, and project management teams
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company growth goals
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
• Establish and improve internal processes, systems, and workflows
• Monitor KPIs, financial performance, and operational efficiency
• Lead, mentor, and manage department heads and project teams
• Manage relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements
• Support business development, tendering, and project acquisition strategies
• Report directly to the CEO/Managing Director with performance insights

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field (MBA is a plus)
• 10+ years of experience in construction / fit-out industry
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role (Operations Manager / GM / COO level)
• Strong understanding of UAE construction market and regulations
• Proven track record in managing multiple projects and scaling operations
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Strong financial and commercial awareness
• Fluent in English

Preferred Experience

• Experience in fit-out, villas, and commercial projects
• Background in growing SMEs or mid-size construction companies
• Strong network within UAE construction industry
