Chief Sourcing Officer

JOB TITLE: Chief Sourcing Officer (CSO)
LOCATION: Hybrid or on-site within Florida (remote may be allowed; on-site presence may be required with advance notice; flexibility required)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time (40 hrs/week)
COMPENSATION: $150,000–$185,000 base salary
WORK AUTHORIZATION: U.S. citizenship required; ability to pass a background check

POSITION OVERVIEW

Provide executive leadership for sourcing, procurement, and vendor management across the enterprise. The Chief Sourcing Officer (CSO) will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, negotiating vendor partnerships, and driving cost efficiencies while ensuring compliance and sustainability. Flexibility is required to balance strategic planning with operational execution in support of both internal initiatives and client projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and execute enterprise sourcing and procurement strategies
• Lead vendor selection, contract negotiation, and relationship management
• Oversee procurement operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulations
• Drive cost optimization, risk management, and supply chain resilience
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align sourcing strategies with business goals
• Establish policies and governance for ethical and sustainable sourcing
• Lead cross-functional teams in sourcing-related initiatives and projects
• Monitor vendor performance, KPIs, and continuous improvement efforts

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 12+ years of progressive sourcing, procurement, or supply chain leadership experience
• Proven track record in vendor management, negotiations, and cost optimization
• Strong knowledge of procurement technologies and sourcing best practices
• Experience with compliance, risk management, and regulatory standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and executive stakeholder management skills
• Flexibility to adapt strategies to evolving client and market needs

NICE TO HAVE

• Public-sector or regulated industry sourcing experience
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or PMP
• Familiarity with digital procurement tools, analytics, and sustainability frameworks
