CHIEF TECH/ ANESTHESIA [F/T, 40hrs | Days] - Fox Chase Cancer Center

The Chief Anesthesia Tech is responsible for ensuring that all Anesthesia Tech functions are executed promptly and satisfactorily. The Chief Tech leads the Anesthesia Tech staff, provides structure for task completion, and works collaboratively with Anesthesia leadership to optimize resource utilization. The Chief Tech is accountable for all duties ascribed to the Anesthesia Tech. The Chief Tech is also accountable for leadership in supply chain management, mentorship, and staffing to meet the growing needs of the department.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Experience

Trade School Surgical Technician Program Preferred

2 years experience utilizing sterilization techniques in an OR Required

3 years experience functioning as an anesthesia technician in an OR Required

General Experience and knowledge of Supply Chain process and ability to use Supply Chain Software for capital and non-capital purchases Required

General Experience and knowledge of specialized equipment and of specialized ORs Required

Licenses

Basic Life Support Required
