Experience: 10+ years in telecommunications or broadband, with at least 5 years in management. Experience of end to end launch and management of broadband business.
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of broadband technologies (fiber optic, wireless, routing/switching), network engineering, cybersecurity, and cloud services.
Leadership & Communication: Proven team leadership, cross-departmental collaboration, and ability to translate complex technical issues for non-technical audiences.
Strategic Vision: Ability to envision future technology trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics.
Project Management: Leading large-scale infrastructure rollouts and upgrades, vendor management, budgeting, and compliance.
Education: Bachelor’s or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
Broadband Industry-Specific Focus
- Drive expansion and upgrade projects to deliver high-speed broadband in urban and rural areas.
- Lead spectrum management, IP address strategy, and quality-of-service (QoS) policies for congestion management.
- Oversee the deployment of customer premises equipment (CPE), integration with ISPs, and the adoption of emerging standards (such as DOCSIS, GPON, or 5G FWA).
- Monitor competitive landscape and technology trends to ensure the company remains at the forefront of broadband innovation.
