Chief Time Keeper

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate daily records of attendance, work hours, overtime, and leave for all site workers across multiple locations.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to verify manpower deployment and productivity.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly timekeeping reports to HR and project management.
  • Monitor and reconcile discrepancies in attendance and timesheets.
  • Ensure timely submission of payroll inputs and support payroll processing.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee data.
  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding of site workers from a timekeeping perspective.
  • Implement and maintain digital or manual timekeeping systems as required.
  • Travel between sites to conduct audits and ensure compliance with timekeeping procedures.
  • Liaise with HR and Finance departments for payroll, compliance, and reporting matters.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in timekeeping, preferably in civil construction or similar industries.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and site operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and timekeeping software (e.g., ERP systems, biometric systems).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel between sites regularly.
