Chief Train Controller

Job Description:

• Manage on-shift train controllers and ensure compliance with operating rules and procedures.
• Implement the shift train plan; lead conflict resolution and service recovery.
• Monitor and control rail operations performance using live system data.
• Execute emergency action plans and coordinate with field personnel and external agencies.
• Liaise with operations and maintenance teams on shift to resolve safety and performance issues.
• Conduct and document cyclic assessments of train controllers.
• Train new train controllers on established procedures and maintenance activities.
• Support network planning managers with train movement planning in assigned territory.
• Assist in developing and executing the OCC strategy to ensure controller compliance.
• Conduct operational and administrative studies to support safety incident investigations.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

Preferred Qualification: L3 Certified Assessor, L4 Certified IQA (Internal Quality Assurance).

Minimum Years of Experience: A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
