Job Summary
As a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Consultant, provides expert evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for mental health disorders in children and adolescents, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal emotional and psychological well-being.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides high-quality child and adolescent psychiatric care to patients in this area of medicine.
- Provide consultative service as requested.
- Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
- Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and participates in research activities.
- Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
- Performs special procedures as privileged.
- Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Education
- Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
- Completion of required period of training in psychiatry/ Child and Adolescent psychiatry.
- American Board/MRCPCH- Irish, UK, Canadian, Australian & New Zealand/DES/CIS/ Diplome di Medico Specialist Italy / SCR Holland/ Swedish Board/ German Facharzt/ Austrian Facharzt/ CCST UK/ Saudi Board/ Arab Board & sub board/ Fellowship.
- Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required.
- A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
- Dataflow is a must.
Professional Experience
- Min. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in psychiatry/ Child and Adolescent psychiatry
- A registered member of the Saudi Board Council
Language
- Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
