Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Child Care Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our daycare center. In this vital role, you will manage staff, ensure compliance with licensing standards, develop enriching programs, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for children and families. Your leadership will help create a positive atmosphere where children thrive and parents feel confident in our care.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily center operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Lead and support childcare staff through training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities and care plans that promote developmental milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety standards, and health protocols.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as budgeting, record keeping, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Foster strong relationships with families, addressing concerns and providing updates on their child's progress.
  • Oversee medication administration procedures and ensure proper documentation for each child's health needs.

Requirements

  • Proven management experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers, group homes, or retirement homes.
  • Knowledge of assisted living, nursing home experience, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Alzheimer’s care, memory care, dementia care, and senior care practices.
  • Experience in developing care plans tailored to individual needs and managing operations within long-term care environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively while maintaining a positive team culture.
  • Excellent organizational skills with experience in budgeting, financial acumen, and administrative oversight.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
