Child Care Afternoon Teacher

Do you love children? Do you love to make a difference? Are you at least 18 years old? This may be the job for you! We are seeking qualified applicants to assume positions at our childcare center. Must have a positive attitude, be able to pass a background check, lift 50lbs, ability to get up and down from the floor repetitively and stand for long periods of time. If you are working on a degree in education this is a great foundation to begin your journey with children. Experience is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate. This position will be Monday through Friday late morning/early afternoon to close. Job duties may include but are not limited to diaper changing, lesson planning, class organization, documenting and record keeping, light and heavy cleaning, along with care and supervision of the children. Must be able to understand and follow all center and state licensing rules and regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Early childhood education: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)

• Fingerprint for Childcare Centers (Preferred)
• Family Care Safety Registry (Preferred)
