Responsibilities

• Support classroom activities by helping plan and execute age-appropriate educational and recreational programs for children.
• Assist with daily care routines including feeding, diapering, and nap times for infants and toddlers.
• Monitor children’s behavior to promote positive conduct and implement behavior management strategies as needed.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities.
• Collaborate with lead teachers and caregivers to support individualized learning plans, especially for children with special needs or disabilities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children’s progress, needs, or concerns.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom environments.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus.
• Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
