Established in 1984, Tender Years, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business with early childhood development & childcare centers in Camp Hill, Hershey, Mechanicsburg, Hampden Township, and Carlisle. Each center being licensed by Department of Human Services, three of the five centers holding Department of Ed certifications, and 4 STARS through the Keystone STARS program.

The Assistant Director plays a critical role in maintaining the high standards that parents have come to expect from Tender Years. The Center Director will...

• Supervise teachers and childcare workers
• Train new staff members
• Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff
• Assist staff in communicating with parents
• Meet with parents and staff to discuss students' progress
• Ensure facilities are maintained and cleaned according to state regulations
• Assist in managing the costs of the center in order to operate within budget

Candidates for the position must meet the following requirements: Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Fluent in the English language

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to obtain required childcare clearances
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility as to the hours you are able to work
