Child Care Assistant Teacher

Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Child Care Assistant Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a nurturing environment for young learners. In this role, you will support classroom activities, assist with curriculum implementation, and promote positive development in children. Duties

  • Assist lead teachers in planning and executing educational activities aligned with early childhood education standards.
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs through mentoring and positive behavior management strategies.
  • Help facilitate literacy education and math activities that stimulate cognitive development.
  • Work closely with children with disabilities or autism to ensure inclusive participation and tailored support.
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes safety and learning engagement.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a collaborative educational atmosphere.
  • Support classroom management by implementing behavior management techniques and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education methodologies.
  • Experience working with children in classroom settings, including private school or Montessori environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of special education strategies, literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or autism, demonstrating patience and empathy.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Proven classroom experience in managing activities, tutoring, proofreading educational materials, and mentoring students.
