Child Care Assistant Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Assistant Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. You will assist in implementing educational activities that promote early childhood development, literacy, math skills, and social interaction. This position is ideal for individuals who have a strong background in early childhood education and are committed to fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

If you do not have the qualifications at this time, we will help provide you with the qualifications to become a certified Child Care Assistant Teacher along with bonuses and pay increases.

Duties

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and executing engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of children.
• Support literacy education by reading stories and encouraging language development through conversation and play.
• Facilitate math activities that promote problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Implement behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Provide care for toddlers and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Collaborate with other staff members to develop curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students, including those with disabilities or autism.
• Maintain effective classroom management strategies to foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.50 per hour
