Position: Assistant Teacher

Location: 11246 Wiles Rd, Coral Springs, FL 33076, United States
Pay Range: $14.00 – $15.50 per hour to start
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Within operating hours 7:00am-6:00pm

We are currently seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Assistant Teacher to support our preschool classrooms and help provide exceptional early childhood education experiences.

Position Overview

As an Assistant Teacher, you will work alongside the Lead Teacher to support daily classroom activities, supervise children, and help create a positive and stimulating learning environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and is passionate about supporting their developmental growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher with implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities.
• Help with classroom transitions, meals, and rest periods.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Follow all licensing regulations and company policies.
• Assist with classroom documentation and daily communication as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the 45 DCF Hours.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working in a licensed childcare facility is preferred.
• Experience with toddlers or preschool-aged children is a plus.
• CDA (Child Development Associate) credential is preferred but not required.
• Must be reliable, patient, energetic, and team-oriented.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
