Child Care Assistant Teacher - Part Time Afternoons

Otterbein Early Education Center in Mount Wolf, Pennsylvania is looking for a qualified individual to work part-time as an assistant teacher in our program. Work hours would be 1-5:45pm daily Monday through Friday beginning August 17.

We are currently offering a $600 hiring bonus, paid in two $300 installments, one after 90 days and one after 6 months.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma and 2 years (documented) experience working with children

Preferred Qualifications:

• Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA) or degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Development, Family Studies or related field.

Responsibilities include implementing age appropriate activities in accordance with center's vision, NAEYC standards and the PA Early Learning Standards.
