Early Childhood Associate Center Director

The LEAP School seeks an enthusiastic, dedicated, & caring Associate Center Director to join our teaching team. Full Time position now available now at our Lexington location. Job Description:

  • Serve as a resource and leader to all personnel, striving to create and maintain a professional and motivating work environment.
  • Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages Infants- Pre-K.
  • Use our communication tools to develop relationships with the parents of our students
  • Assist the Center Director with adherence to childcare licensing requirements as well as internal policies of the company.
  • Understand, manage, and track expenses, revenue, and goals for annual budgeting.
  • Substituting as Center Director in the event of their absence.
  • Review staffing needs, scheduling, and classroom assignments.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with children, parents and staff.
  • Contribute to our positive atmosphere with flexibility and your joy in teaching young children

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience teaching Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschoolers in an EEC licensed setting
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities
  • Must be able to function independently within the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized
  • Ability to work within regular operating hours
  • EEC (MA Dept. Early Education & Care) Director qualified
