Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to ensure the center operates efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that support early childhood development and learning standards.
- Manage the center’s budget, including planning, monitoring expenses, and ensuring financial sustainability.
- Lead recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of staff to maintain high-quality classroom instruction and care.
- Foster strong relationships with families through regular communication, parent meetings, and community engagement initiatives.
- Oversee compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, and accreditation standards.
- Coordinate fundraising efforts and community outreach activities to support program growth and resource development.
- Lead public speaking engagements to promote the center’s mission within the community and partner organizations.
Experience
- Proven experience in education administration or early childhood management with a focus on curriculum development and classroom oversight.
- Demonstrated success in senior leadership roles within child care or educational settings.
- Extensive management experience supervising staff, overseeing budgets, and implementing strategic plans.
- Strong background in teaching young children and working directly with students in classroom environments.
- Excellent communication skills for public speaking, staff coordination, and parent engagement.
- Familiarity with fundraising strategies to support program initiatives and resource acquisition.
