In this leadership role, you will oversee daily operations for a staff of 30 and foster a nurturing environment for children. Your strategic vision and management expertise will ensure the center provides high-quality care while adhering to licensing standards and best practices. The PREP School is located in Stone Oak in a state-of-the-art building on the north side of San Antonio.
Responsibilities
· Oversee the daily operations of the school
· Focus on school enrollment and conduct tours of school
· Communicate effectively with parents and families
· Oversee implementation of Curriculum and Daily Schedules
· Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff
· Maintain accurate staff and student records and documentation
· Positive and supportive attitude
· Strong work ethic and dedication to professional conduct
· Supervise and motivate staff in a positive manner
· Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive, fun and happy working environment
· Perform staff evaluations
· Must have attention to detail, strong skills in technology and proficient in Microsoft Office Products
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to educate and engage with children of all ages
· Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
· Work closely with the management team to ensure proper execution of school operations
· Strong leadership and management skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills; conduct parent conferences
· Accuracy and organization in reporting and record keeping
· Assists in staff training and mentoring opportunities
· Well educated in state licensing standards and requirements
· Assists with marketing and advertising for the school
General
· Plan and attend school events
· Must meet all requirements to drive school bus for any purpose to transport children or school operations
· Physical requirements of being capable of lifting at least 40 pounds consistently throughout the workday to chest height.
· Must meet all requirements, rules, and regulations pertaining to the health, safety and care of the children
· Must have flexibility to work anytime between 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and participate in evening and weekend events as necessary, specific schedule will vary.
