We are seeking a passionate and energetic Child Care Center Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers to support the developmental needs of children in our care, ensuring a positive and engaging classroom experience. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming space where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Duties

• Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote childhood development and early education principles
• Support children with activities that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times
• Engage with children through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and other interactive activities
• Support children with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine caregiving tasks
• Collaborate with team members to monitor behavior management strategies and address individual needs effectively

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is a plus
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster positive behavior among children
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families
• Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities such as infant care, toddler care, and preschool activities with patience and enthusiasm

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
