Child Care Cook

This job requires preparation of snacks and lunch for all children enrolled in the center's child care program. Knowledge of governmental health regulations and food safety is preferred, along with food handling and sanitation knowledge. The cook follows the approved menus, delivers the food to the classrooms and ensures the kitchen and its contents are kept clean and in order. Other duties include washing dishes, pots, and pans. The cook may assist with grocery shopping and will work as a supportive member of the child care team.
