Child care floater

Responsibilities include:

Implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum

Maintaining a clean, healthy and safe environment for children

Communicate with parents and staff on a daily basis

Following state and sanitation regulations

Attending required in service training, staff meetings and family functions

Ideal candidate must:

Love working with young, active children

Be able to work in a face paced environment

Be dedicated to working with diverse children and families

Be flexible, dependable and energetic

Be able to interact with children in classroom, on floor or playground

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be a team player and able to relate to children, parents and co-workers in a professional manner

Professional:

Candidate must :

Meet state requirements including qualifying background check, TB test, First Aid / CPR, Physical form

Have at least one year experience in a licensed facility

May need to receive NCECC within 6 months based on position

Degree in early childhood education preferred

Physical Demands

Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, turning, lifting up to 25 lbs, getting down and up from floor

Occasional stooping, kneeling, sitting, climbing, running, reaching

Job Types: Full-time - must be available to work until 5:30 PM.
