Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Child Care Helper/General Cleaning/Driver to join us. In this multifaceted role, you will assist with child supervision, help maintain a clean and safe environment, and provide transportation for children between school and the center (Mileage Paid).Your positive attitude and dedication will help create a nurturing space where children thrive and families feel confident.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children from school to the child care center, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Assist with supervising children during daily activities, playtime, and homework assistance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment through general cleaning duties.
• Share engaging activities with children that promote social-emotional development and learning.
• Support classroom management by helping implement age-appropriate routines and behavior guidance.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's needs and daily updates.
• Follow all safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to drive for school pickups is essential (Mileage Paid).
• Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or early childhood education preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development, behavior management, and classroom activities.
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR and mandated reporter training is required by time of hire.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills and a caring attitude toward children of all abilities.
