Duties

• Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs.
• Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, creativity, and social skills.
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols, conducting regular safety checks, and practicing first aid when necessary.
• Support classroom management by organizing routines, managing behavior, and encouraging positive interactions among children.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and team members to ensure each child's individual needs are met effectively.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, diapering, and hygiene routines to promote health and well-being.
• Document daily activities, developmental progress, and any incidents accurately to ensure clear communication with families and staff.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool settings, nannying, babysitting, or similar roles.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Certification in first aid and CPR; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively.
• Experience caring for infants through toddlers with an understanding of infant care routines.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: $11.50 - $13.00 per hour
