Child Care Provider/Teacher

We are currently looking for qualified individuals to join our team! Candidates should be caring, patient, dependable, and fun! Year-round full-time position available.

Basic Function

Overseeing 4- and 5-year-olds in a welcoming, caring, and educational environment.

Providing care for students, and plan and implement developmentally appropriate experiences in a Christian setting.

Responsibilities for Child Care Teacher

• Encourage positive behavior and good manners
• Provide a pleasant, safe, and sanitary environment
• Ensure students adhere to the school and child care stated rules and policies
• Plan, schedule and implement developmentally appropriate experiences
• Respect the dignity and basic rights of each child
• Work with and refer to the director children with unmet needs
• Make daily observations of the health of children, reporting conditions which require attention
• Work with director and parents to solve behavior problems
• Help children learn to adapt to and cope with real-life situations; to develop appropriate habits in such activities as eating, dressing, napping and personal hygiene
• Assure that equipment and materials are accessible, appropriate and in good condition
• Perform classroom cleaning duties as requested
• Maintain a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere for staff and children

Qualifications for Child Care Teacher

• Clear criminal background checks
• Meet the State of Nebraska Licensing Requirements
• Prior experience in a child care center preferred, but will train the right person
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Reliable transportation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
