Child Care Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and educational environment for children, fostering their development through engaging activities and lessons. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young learners, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment for children.
• Supervise and engage with children during activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional development.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and incidents as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience within the classroom.
• Provide care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their basic needs are met (feeding, diapering, etc.).
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with disabilities or special needs.

Skills

• First aid certification is preferred to ensure child safety.
• Experience in toddler care is essential for supporting young children's needs.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized learning environment.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs.
• Experience working with students in an educational setting is highly valued.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Proficiency in infant care techniques to support the youngest learners.
• Background in childcare or babysitting demonstrates a commitment to child welfare.
• Passion for educating young children and fostering a love of learning.

Pay: $24,960.00 - $30,000.00 per year
