Job Title: Child Care teacher/assistant teacher

Reports to: Center Director

Job Description:

Responsible for meeting the needs of children, implementing the daily lesson plan for all children in the classroom.

• Providing residents with a safe, supportive, and loving environment;
• Provide emergency first aid as needed;
• Develop Daily Lesson Plans
• Maintain cleanliness of classroom by following health & safety protocols
• Supervision indoor and outdoor activities
• Maintain up-to-date child daily records;
• Obtain Child Care certification
• participate in-service training each year;
• Maintain current first aid and CPR certification;
• Be knowledgeable of the Policy & Procedure Manual;
• Communicate well with staff and parents
• Provide positive relationships with the children
• Attend staff meetings;
• Supervise recreational and leisure time activities;
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Child Care staff must possess adequate education, training, and experience to perform the essential functions of the position.

• Must be 21 years of age or older;
• CPR/First Aid Certified;
• Minimum Associate Degree
• At least 2 years of child care experience required

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
