Child Care Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to nurturing and educating young children in a safe and engaging environment. This role is essential in fostering childhood development and providing quality care that supports each child's growth and learning.

Duties

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote educational development and social skills.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in your care.
• Engage with children through play, educational activities, and hands-on experiences.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting positive interactions among children.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom that reflects the values of our program.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including knowledge of first aid procedures.

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving or daycare settings is preferred. But will train the right candidate.
• Familiarity with childhood development principles and practices.
• Experience working with children, including those with disabilities, is highly valued.
• Strong classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support children's emotional well-being.
• First aid certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
