Child Care Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You will be responsible for planning educational activities, ensuring the safety of the children, and fostering their social and emotional development.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
• Educate children in various subjects, including basic literacy, numeracy, arts, and social skills.
• Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their development.
• Supervise children during playtime and structured activities to ensure safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and learning materials.
• Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and staff about children's needs and progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Background in early childhood education or related field is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
• Experience in infant care or babysitting is a plus.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
• Must pass background checks as required by state regulations.
